FAREWELL TO SIR JOHN KREBBS

Chairman of the Food Standards Agency

Sir John Krebs who is departing from his role as a chair of the Food Standards Agency, to became principal of Jesus College, Oxford. The event was held at the London Central Mosque Trust & the Islamic Cultural Centre and was attended by leaders of the community, who expressed their appreciation for Sir John’s hard work and his cultural sensitivities.

Sir John was thanked by Dr Ahmed Al Dubayan Director General of the Islamic Centre Dr Yunes Teinaz Health & Management Advisor to the Director General, Principal Environmental Health Officer London Borough of Hackney, Iqbal Sacranie General Secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain, and Dr Aziz Pasha, Secretary General of the Union of Muslims Organizations for his effective stewardship of the agency over its five-year history and for his role in helping to promote the interests of Moslem diet. Safety.

Sir John said he had been honored to be invited. He hoped that a positive relationship would continue between the FSA under his successor and the Moslem community.
